Since moving to Perth, its been very rare for me to have time alone. This afternoon, my loved one and his offspring have gone out. The house is clean, my study is done, and a quick scan of the TV guide indicates that there is a Man Ray doco on SBS in about half an hour. Just enough time for me to knock up a very yummy lunch.

Life is good.

I just split my lunch on myself in the worst way. I have 4hrs and 40 minutes of ridicule to endure before I can change

Hi. American students say "playing hookie" in reference to not going to school when there is no valid reason for not going to school. Australian students say "wagging it".

I am doing that today. Its fucking great.

Although, i guess I do have a reason. My teeth (the ongoing unresolved medical/dental saga in my life) are KILLLING me...imagine how this would feel... and multiply it by three and thats whats going on.

I know. I have been complaining about this for a year. And in that year, I have pretty much taken nurofen most days. As a result, this is what my liver is gradullay looking like.

Is there an end in sight? Not really. After three lots of oral surgery, the answer is now to simply wait for the nerve damage to correct itself.

There are a couple of other things I would like to complain about while Im at it;

- I cant go to amynators going away party.
- I didnt go to needyneddys flamenco party
- Bananas are very hard to come by in Perth at the moment, and are very expensive.
- The revalation film festival is coming and going and I havent watched anything yet. I just keep staring at the program on my fridge.

That is all. Thankyou.

There are two peices of information i would like to communicate today;

1) last night I made a big pot of vegetable soup. Whilst watching The Omen (original) on DVD last night I became aware that it was burning, significantly, and I was a bit scared to get out of my loungeroom and into my kitchen , because I was home alone in omen zone... and scared. As a result. The entire house filled up with burnt vegetable soup smell. Significantly... and I was just in a meeting with some big wigs and one of them said "Can you smell something burning"? Oh god...my clothes and hair smell!

2) The child from the omen, damian, the original that is.. looks exceptionally like Nikolala

I just had to make a presentation to the Executive Board of the company that I work for. In my mind, in the moment, they were the most important and scary people in the entire universe. It went very well , however, the one completely ridiculous toungue tied fruedian slip was that for some ridiculous reason I accidentally refered to the company social club as broken social scene. What is wrong with me?

So I just looked up some Sleater-Kinney lyrics... after reading through the lyrics to the particular song, I noticed the following on the bottom;

"Visitors who looked up Sleater-Kinney lyrics have also been interested in lyrics by Harry Connick Jr and Frank Zappa."

Hahah. Ok.
